DESCRIPTION
This adventure tour is very special. Only a few years ago we were not even allowed to stop and visit these unique, uninhabited islands. They needed a time-out to recover from too many visitors. Today, once again we can make our trip and be more mindful of maintaining the pristine conditions, enjoying the beauty of the geology and the special marine life who make this their home. This is one of our most favorite tours on the Bay…snorkeling among the rocks and the edges of islands, meeting the unusual wild inhabitants who are hanging out to watch you.
We have a delicious continental breakfast for you to enjoy as we sail. Our experienced guides will help you set up your snorkeling gear, showing you how to use it to have the most fun, and then will facilitate your search for marine animals you have probably never seen before (like octopuses, saltwater eels, manta rays and sea horses).
The Marietas islands are protected by UNESCO. Inside one of the islands, there is a hidden beach which can be entered only with a special permit and when the waves allow it. We will not be visiting that beach known as Hidden Beach.
